In her last years, Ms. Milele worked tirelessly to obtain donations to fund a Scholarship Endowment at the Madison Community Foundation, and, through the generosity of many donors, the Miss Milele Scholarship Endowment Fund was established. A student from the community will be recognized and advanced in his or her education every year, in honor of Ms. Milele. If you would like to help honor Ms. Milele, please donate directly to her fund through the following

A significant part of the community also knows her as mentor, advocate, community leader, trailblazer and “Village Mother” for her lifetime of volunteer efforts, activism, community organizing, extensive mentoring, and willingness to serve those in need.
