Women In Focus, Inc. is proud to bestow the  WIF “Inspiring the Dream” Award on our longtime partner, Madison Gas and Electric (MGE).  MGE and the MGE Foundation have consistently supported the WIF Scholarship Fund through sponsoring the Dream Ball and through purchase of ads.  At the 37^th Annual Dream Ball, MGE’s representatives received a lovely award to commemorate this honor. Thank you MGE for your support for WIF scholarships, scholarships which transform lives.

For the past 36 years, Women in Focus, Inc. (WIF) has been proud to encourage and support students of color to succeed in education through our college scholarship program.  WIF deeply believes in the abilities and talents of students of color in Dane County and that college education is key to their future and to building stronger communities locally, nationwide and worldwide. Funding has come from the generosity of sponsors, donors and guests at our Dream Ball, held each January in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Our work of funding scholarships is more important now than ever. Our mission is our drive: Women In Focus, Inc. envisions a world in which dreams are fulfilled through a worldwide partnership where all barriers to education are erased for students of color.
